Her elegant, limpid style -- encyclopedic, yet without a whisper of pedantry -- makes this remarkable book a genuine pleasure. The depth of understanding she generously offers her reader is a delight, combining so many of the strains and troubles of modern thought with the powerful answers offered by a reimagining of Plato's relevance to these questions -- engages the reader throughout the journey.
